Victorian Home Renovation
Phased rewire as part of a long term renovation of an occupied period home, including a high-spec music studio with specialist data cabling and custom lighting.
The Brief
A private client approached us after reading our online reviews, seeking a complete electrical rewire as part of a long-term renovation of their four-bedroom Victorian home in Malvern. The property was occupied throughout, and the client also required the orangery to be converted into a high-spec music studio – demanding advanced connectivity and careful coordination.

The Project
This was a comprehensive domestic rewire delivered over 18 months, phased to align with renovation progress and to minimise disruption to the client, who remained living and working in the property. Alongside the full rewire, we developed a bespoke electrical installation for the music studio, including high-performance data and communications cabling, media centre integration, and precision lighting to highlight wall-mounted artwork.
We used exposed metal tray work in the studio to meet both functional and aesthetic needs – a challenging installation due to the room’s complex geometry. Throughout, we worked in close coordination with multiple other trades on site, ensuring all installations were completed safely, cleanly, and to current wiring regulations.

The Outcome
The project resulted in a fully rewired, future-proofed home, with a technically advanced studio tailored to the client’s business. The installation meets all relevant safety and compliance standards, incorporating the latest protective devices and equipment. Work was staged with minimal disruption, enabling the client to continue living and working in the space throughout.
The Response
"We’re really pleased with the finish on this one, the studio was a real challenge, but a very rewarding one. It’s a great example of how we bring the same level of care and technical attention to detail to complex domestic projects as we do to commercial work."
