We delivered a complete electrical installation for a high-end kitchen renovation, including mood lighting, smart speakers, and specialist appliances.
The Brief
We were recommended to the homeowners in Malvern Link to support a full kitchen transformation. They were knocking through the existing kitchen and lounge to create a large open-plan kitchen – the new heart of their home. While it was a domestic project, our standards for compliance and finish remained the same as on any commercial job.
The Project
The scope covered a complete first and second fix across the new space, including hidden mood lighting, downlights, and wiring for premium appliances and smart tech. We installed a Quooker hot water tap, Sonos ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi speakers, a downdraft extractor hob, and finished everything with antique aged brass accessories.
The project lasted around two months and involved coordination with multiple other trades – including builders, kitchen fitters, plumbers, plasterers, and stone worktop installers. As always, all work was completed in line with BS7671, with careful planning to ensure the electrics aligned precisely with the kitchen design and appliance requirements.
The Outcome
The result was a spacious, high-spec kitchen finished to an excellent standard. With lighting, sound, and smart features all seamlessly integrated, it gave the clients a perfect space for cooking, relaxing, and entertaining.
Throughout the job, we kept the workspace clean and ensured temporary lighting and power were available at all times – making the process much more comfortable for the homeowners.
